Hi all!
This
is from my friend in Cambodia. They do amazing work and if you feel
like sowing into fruitful ground, this is it! They take in buddhist
children and school them as a vehicle to evangelize and disciple the
next generation of Cambodians. The buddhist parents love the Christian
schools due to the desperate need to learn English and their good
standards! They need help to finish their building to accommodate the new children.
This ministry ( Legacy of Hope) started because of a South African missionary. The guy who started it unfortunately now is too old to continue. We (South African body of Christ) cannot let this investment slip from our hands! We need seed in the ground, especially in these times!

Subject: Dormitory Update
Dear Martin,
Greetings from Cambodia!
Just give you an update on our dormitory project....
as of today, Sept 21, there are already 16 young people who signed to
stay here at our school. These young people are coming from less
fortunate families who are staying in remote areas. They are very eager
to come to Battambang to resume their studies as most countryside areas do not
have high school or middle school available. We are very excited to have
this ministry as it is a very good platform for discipleship and life-skills
impartation. Aside from this, having them here at our care is a great way
for them to avoid being trafficked or being sent by their families to work in
Thailand.
I am sending this email to help for assistance, we do need
to buy some beds, beddings and kitchen utensils and tables to set up their
temporary dormitory. As of now, we need 8 double decker beds, some foams,
pillows, bed sheets, plates, etc. The costs for all this is about 1500USD.
Please do help us.
Pastor Sam
