Testimony beginning 2013

During 2012 the Lord gave me Word about His kingdom that cannot be shaken and awesome stuff like that. I later found out what that meant, but God remains awesome and He wins my heart over and over again by His love, mercy and grace He has for us. He sent me some of His fire and instantly my entire life got shaken to the bone! I lost my only form of income; I lost relationships in ministry and even friendships. Every area of my life got levelled with the ground! Only His kingdom remained! I never lost my peace for we are not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  

I believe we have authority to choose our own attitude. We cannot always control what life throws at us, but we can choose how we respond! And through Christ we are able to get this right! Everything in my life fell apart within a week or so. I got in my car and drove on the last fumes of petrol in my car to a friend’s farm for a lekker South African braai. The next day I went to another friend’s farm on the rest of the leftover fumes in my car for another lekker South African braai! A friend in need, is a friend indeed! God really blessed me with awesome friends! Thank You Father! My spirit was back up and I was ready to face the road again.

For about three months I was stuck at home where God taught me amazing things! I can see today the absolute awesomeness of how God does things. I got shaken till I was rock bottom otherwise I wouldn’t have been still enough to receive the thing He had for me and that I needed for my next season. New wine needs a new wine skin! He taught me many many awesome things and I got overdosed with information and equipment. I was completely out of my comfort zone just being still and knowing that Jesus is God. He was very practical this time with me. Usually I get Scripture or some fancy quote and then I figure it out along the way, but this time was allot of practical things to do. And I believe as I do them I will have a huge revelation and breakthrough!  

One of the things God told me to do is to gather all my prophetic word I received over the years. Study them again! I think sometimes we receive so many prophetic words that we forget them and that we can sometimes even miss God because of this. I believe that I will see a pattern and many more awesome things by just doing this. I'm still in process of doing this!  

Another very important thing Jesus showed me was what relationship with Him looks like. What a practical day to day relationship with the Father look like? Sometimes I get too spiritual about things and the religious spirit shows me where I must do more to get more of God, where Jesus has already done everything and His fullness is already in me! Simple, but I tend to miss it so often! I listened to a teaching from a guy called Sadhu Sundar Sigh. He is an Indian preacher. Awesome guy! Love all his testimonies. One of them he said he used to pray for all his needs and then the needs and people of his congregation and after all his prayers have been prayed, only minutes have passed. He could never understand how did Jesus get it right to pray right through the entire night. What did He pray!? So Sadhu asked God to show him. God showed him in a vision Jesus when He was here on earth. This is what he saw: At the end of the day the Lord Jesus send His disciples home. He then went up a mountain and walked till He came to a good spot to pray and spend the night at the top of the mountain. He kneeled down at a rock and started to pray. Jesus began to tell His Father about His day. He told the Father about every person He met and everything that happened that day. Every now and then the Father would say well done My Son or something like that. It was a conversation between two Persons who were deeply in love and passionate about each other! When Jesus finished it was already 3 o'clock in the morning. Then the Father started sharing and told Jesus all the things that will happen the following day. He told Jesus exactly what He must do and where He must go and that’s why Jesus could say that He does only what He sees His Father do. And this is my prayer! I believe this is the best theology ever! Do only what you see the Father do. You cannot go wrong! Ever! But also just the simplicity of what a love relationship looks like. Very very simple indeed!  

One Sunday I was sitting in church. Our church is at a very nice venue and overlooks a small dam with some ducks which live there. I stared out the window looking at the ducks during the service, just appreciating creation. Two male ducks were fighting for a female, some were swimming and others just quacking about. God asked me what are the ducks doing, and He answered. They are worshipping Me, God said. What an awesome revelation! The entire creation is busy worshipping their Creator by just being themselves! Thank You Jesus! 

A friend also showed me a video of a deliverance session that he was part of during this time. It showed me forms of witchcraft that most people and even born again Christians wont believe if you tell them. It also showed me the Father's heart and that Love truly covers all! God is Love. I think that people (all of us) are scared of the unknown and spiritual realm. If we cannot see or control or scientifically explain or understand something we push it away and ignore its existence. Even the previous generations tried to protect their children to such an extent that they lied to their children. An example is the topic of sex. They taught their kids sex is evil and that it is a sin. Stay away from sex! Where the truth is that sex is beautiful! It is the top of creation! It is when God's creation became one. What does sex in marriage look like when Jesus is part of it? No one ever taught that part but only the perverted part was talked about or ignored. This is even truer with the topic of witchcraft. We were taught about all satan's power and the things that he can do and when things that he actually does became too weird, its existence got knocked! Hollywood is not all that sci-fi! They actually understand what’s happening in the spirit! The truth is in James 4:7 and many other Scriptures where Jesus says that we have authority in Him over ALL evil forces. Jesus is the highest authority! Because we as Christians are so clueless to what is happening around us, the occult world actually makes fun of us! Aren't they the ones in the dark and we are the light of the world? It is our job to expose the evil deeds and bring light to every situation and corner of this planet! Why do people go to witchdoctors and those types of people? It’s because there is power! They get results! Aren't we as God's children suppose to have the Highest power inside of us? Is the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead not dwelling inside of us? Are we not supposed to take authority? Don’t we have power also? Are we not supposed to rule with Christ and judge? A few weeks after I saw that deliverance video, I received a phone call to go and pray at people's house. It was the same guy that received deliverance in the video! Coincidence? I believe God was teaching me something. Very soon after this, I encountered this type of witchcraft in various people. The sad thing about this level of witchcraft is that the people who claim to be experts in this field of ministry and deliverance do not agree. Some also live in denial and others debate theological matters over and over and over. Others encourage you to do their courses and buy their books before they will help you. We all fall short of Gods glory, but where are we missing it!? May the Spirit guide us through every situation as we lay down every method and know how that we have. God help us!  

God also asked me about my dreams of life. I couldn’t answer Him! Somewhere somehow my dreams got lost. I think this is why I have to go through all my previous prophetic words again. I pray that God will birth new dreams in my heart! This year in February I turned 30. During January everybody asked me what am I going to do for my birthday. This for me just isn’t that big of an issue! One morning during my private worship session with the Lord God asked me what would be the ultimate 30th? At that moment a favourite song from Mervis started playing. I said to the Lord what if everybody who ever meant something for me who has a heart for worship came together for one night, not for my birthday, but for the pure reason to worship. What if Mervis can be part of this? I have met Mervis before but cannot say that I know him. And with only a very few phone calls everything got arranged! It’s as if the Lord challenged me to challenge Him! And it was so easy for Him! God is busy stirring in my heart about my dreams. Someone that I only met once before in my life bought me a telescope! He is going through a major revival and the Lord just instructed him to buy me this very fancy telescope! When I was young all that I could draw was the solar system, the sun and all the planets. It’s as if God is bringing my childhood dreams back to life. The revelations in this are endless! What is my ultimate in every area of my life? Can I give my dreams to God and trust Him with them? If this "ultimate" 30th was no challenge for God at all, what can He do with the rest of my dreams!?  

  

During January I also stopped at a mall in Pretoria called Kollonade. I never go there! As I parked there someone walked past me who I know. I know his name is Chris Albany and we have met briefly during many church services and courses. But other than that I don’t know much about him. We greeted each other in the parking area as I got out and briefly shared what God is saying for 2013. He told me about a course that he presents where he teaches people to go into the Spirit. I knew this was a divine appointment! God shared with me that I need to take the people that I council into the Spirit and that my breakthrough will be in the Spirit. Awesome stuff but what does that mean! Do we leave our bodies and as ghosts in the air do some stuff and as we return to our bodies everything is different or does it mean peace, love, joy etc...? I had no idea what it means to go into the Spirit. Everybody I met had different meanings to this term. Chris said that he has this course where he teaches people to go into the Spirit on a monthly basis in Pretoria North. A bit far for me! So I suggested that we have the course one time in Pretoria East where I stay and that I know a few venues where we can accommodate such a course. Sometimes 60 people attend at a time! We concluded that I will send Chris a mail and then take it from there. We then went our separate ways. That evening I received a mail from Chris saying that as we departed, he went to his meeting and in that meeting he lost his venue for the course. Wow! Just before he receives his news he bumps into someone offering venues! The first Saturday in February we had the course where he teaches people to go into the Spirit. I was ready for every extreme situation! I don’t know how, but if these people will leave their bodies, I will find a way to follow! How far from the truth was I!? I still laugh at myself! We spent the entire Saturday basically lying down at the feet of Jesus just to worship Him and also be still in front of Him. He also showed a very basic simple and easy way to do deliverance. We then prophesied over each other and learned practically about the Holy Spirit. What an awesome day! I highly recommend those who want to learn more about the Spirit to attend this course! Chris has an anointing for inner healing. He also presents a SOZO course from Bethel church in the States. My counselling sessions defiantly sees the fruit of this course I attended.  

The other mayor concern that I had during this 3month sitting period was finances. All forms of income were lost and I was desperate. I sent out my CV to hundreds of places. It is as if the mails don’t even send! Not even one response! I just knew I was wasting my time trying to send my cv. Long story short, God has other plans. The frustration comes not so much because of the no money (God always looks after me), but more because I have no vision or job or I just don’t know what to say when people ask me what it is I do for a living. I’m rather busy with lots to do but no career, if this makes sense. One morning on my way to Henk Kleinsmidt I had a feeling that I want to ask Henk about full time ministry. How does it work etc. Do I need an Article 21 company or what if I join forces with his ministry, Aflame ministries. As I arrived I forgot about this because our meeting was about something very different. After the meeting, Henk mentioned it that I must pray about joining his team. No prayer necessary! My congregation has also undergone a major name change and is now called KF24 (Kingdom Family). So between KF24 and Aflame ministries (both work very closely together), I am now in full time service of whatever God wants to do. We also have a Section 21 with Article 18 status which provides benefits to the taxpayer. There are lots of opportunities the Lord is showing us and we will move as the Spirit leads. Will keep you posted! I am also going on a few outreaches which includes Zimbabwe at the end of March, Rwanda in May and end June or so Zimbabwe and/or Malawi. 

The future is wide open and filled with the hope that we have in Christ. May we be led by the Spirit for we are the sons of the most High! So in short up to this point in March 2013, I am still continuing my sessions with the people that I see on a regular basis. Please pray with me for breakthrough!
