WAY OF PROGRESSION by MARSHA BURNS:
Following is some prophetic understanding of what is in store for us in 2013:
Greater revelation and insights will come with regard to the work of the Spirit.
Spiritual hunger will develop for those who deliberately feed on spiritual substance
and maintain focus by keeping thoughts on things of the Spirit. This will create
rapid growth.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they
shall be filled.
Train your spiritual muscle through repeated exercise and discipline. The outcome
will be worth the effort.
Whether you realize it or not, you have been in a time of intense spiritual training.
Even though you have experienced great trials, you are now stronger in faith and
perseverance than ever.
Watch for a new level of anointing and a greater sense of purpose, which will release
a wave of expectation and joy.
I am bringing you to a new place of effectiveness, not only in life experience,
but in spiritual awareness as well. Go with the flow. I will lead the way, says
the Lord.
Spiritual maturity will come when reactions in the flesh are overcome.
Live in spiritual reality by taking the time to know the difference between flesh
and Spirit.
There will be a more pronounced separation between the chosen, faithful followers
of Christ who walk in the Spirit and the religious, carnal Christians.
2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the
Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."
Proverbs 3:25-26 Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked
when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from
being caught.
Be on the alert for temptations to believe lies that lead to fear.

Many prophets who have lost their voice, so to speak, will find it again and bring
forth profound prophetic direction to the Body of Christ.
Spiritual vision will also be more profound in the way of prophetic dreams, visions,
wisdom and understanding in accessing the realms of glory.
Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
Many have received prophetic words in the past that have not come to fruition.
A great number of those words emanated from the flesh or carnal understanding and
became fantasy. Those false promises must be released so that focus on spiritual
reality can be re-established. It is time to be released from the bondage of disappointment.
Stay in the present and stop waiting for or expecting fulfillment that only exists
in the future.
Now is the time to simplify areas of life that have become complex. At the same
time a greater sense of security and order will be established.
Proverbs 1:33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without
fear of evil."
I am making a way for you to come to a level of stability, the likes of which you
have never known. This stability will produce clarity and greater ease in accomplishing
all that I have given you responsibility for, says the Lord.
Don't disdain the challenges that present themselves. Learn obedience through suffering.
Identify and restate the nature of the challenge to discern and understand the
path of obedience.
Hebrews 5:8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He
suffered.
Forgive and release others. Unforgiveness will obstruct blessing and prosperity
in the Kingdom.
You will continue to have ample opportunities to overcome offense and to forgive
when rejection arises. This will strengthen your spiritual position and remove hindering
assignments.
Let Me deal with those places where you have something to prove. This stems from
pride as a way of dealing with insecurity and rejection. But, you are neither insecure
nor rejected in My kingdom. Let your trust in Me become as solid as the cornerstone
of your foundation. I am your strength in weakness; your help in times of trouble,
says the Lord.
You can now make excellent progress in walking in the Spirit instead of allowing
negativity to rule.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are
noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are
lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there
is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
Allow Me to enter into your need with a blessing. In order to do so, you must deal
with your fear of lack. Trust Me to provide so that you lack nothing, says the Lord.
You have been set and established in the realm of blessing. What I bless is blessed,
and no man can undermine or derail you from My plans and purposes. I have chosen
you and will do all of My will. My word shall not return to Me void.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return
to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the
thing for which I sent it.
